| Andrew Loog Oldham |
Weekdays 8 am - 11 am ET
Saturdays 4 pm - 8 pm ET
Sundays Noon - 4 pm ET |
Andrew Loog Oldham's show business career started when he was just 16 years old, when he worked for iconic 1960's fashion designer Mary Quant. After that, he began working in pop music publicity, handling press for the likes of Little Richard, Bob Dylan and Sam Cooke when they toured in the UK; he also handled the Beatles' press in their early days. But most rock and roll fans will instantly recognize his name from his production credits: he produced the first ten Rolling Stones albums (he was also their manager during that time). He also formed Immediate, England's first indie label, which released recordings by the Small Faces, Humble Pie, The Nice, Eric Clapton, Rod Stewart, Fleetwood Mac and John Mayall. He went to lunch for 25 years. Upon his return he wrote two highly acclaimed volumes of autobiography, Stoned and 2Stoned . |
| |
| |
| The Mighty Manfred |
| Weekdays Noon - 3 pm ET |
His program emanates from Los Angeles, California, but he hails from Atlanta, Georgia. The Mighty Manfred's life revolves around playing and performing music; he is the frontman and driving force behind the Woggles, a late '80s/early '90s garage band that started in Athens, Georgia and continues to release records and tour worldwide. Periodically he takes his Underground Garage show out on the road, spinning tunes from all across the country when he's out on tour. |
| |
| |
| Kid Leo |
| Weekdays 4 pm - 7 pm ET |
A true radio legend, Kid Leo got his start in Cleveland in the '70s and went on to become one of America's most influential radio executives. He was named one of the "Heavy Hundred in the Music Industry" by Rolling Stone magazine, and Playboy deemed him "The Best DJ" in a special "Best Of" issue. During his initial stint in radio he aided the careers of many including Bruce Springsteen, the Pretenders and the New York Dolls. He broke artists on both regional and national levels. In 1989 he joined Columbia Records as VP of Artist Development, where he helped launch many careers, including those of Alice In Chains and Train. He also served as tour liaison for the Rolling Stones during their stay at the label. He was instrumental in making the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum a reality and is featured in its broadcast wing. He is not only one of the Underground Garage's DJs but also its program director. |

While slinging drinks she helped start the now storied Living Room Sessions which helped launch many artists including The White Stripes and Brendan Benson. She's played in the Come-Ons, the Soledad Brothers, Ko & the Knockouts and currently lends a hand to the fierce fuzz bass attack of the Dirtbombs. Speaking of whom, kudos to Ko and the other members of the group: the Dirtbombs have been named by Spin Magazine as one of the "Top 10 Live Bands" on the planet |

| Genya Ravan |
| Chicks & Broads: First Friday of the month @ 10 pm ET |
Genya Ravan is a legendary figure. She survived and escaped a WWII concentration camp as a child. She came to America full of piss and vinegar. In the '60s she formed the very FIRST all-girl band (not a "girl group" of vocalists), Goldie & the Gingerbreads, which was a precursor to the Runaways and the Go-Go's. They were signed by the legendary record mogul Ahmet Ertegun to Atlantic Records. She then went on to front one of the pioneers in the brass based rock'n'roll genre, Ten Wheel Drive (contemporary of Blood, Sweat & Tears and Chicago Transit Authority). Also on her resume is a solo career, a stint as a record label entrepeneur (Ronnie Spector recorded an album for her company) and many credits as producer including albums by the Dead Boys, Tiny Tim and Kool & the Gang (there's a motley crew). Now she's turning her ambitions and talents toward the Underground Garage. Bring her on !!!! |

Imus |

Fred
Imus has been all over. Fred was born in Los Angeles, but grew
up on a cattle ranch in Arizona. And now, when asked why is
Fred Imus glad to be in Sirius Outlaw Country? "I love
country music and my brother will quit asking me if I got a
job yet." He has worked at country stations in Cleveland,
Ohio; Cheyenne, Wyoming; El Paso, Texas; Ruidoso, New Mexico;
and continues to appear twice a week on his brother's, Don Imus,
syndicated radio show "Imus in the Morning," which
is also broadcast on MSNBC. But Fred wasn't always a broadcaster.
After High School, Fred joined the Army, and was stationed at
Fort Campbell in Kentucky. Fred also restored cars in El Paso,
specializing in '57 Chevys, and worked for 12 years as a brakeman
for the Southern Pacific Railroad. That's where he met fellow
brakeman Phil Sweet, and back in 1976 they wrote the number
one country hit "I Don't Want to Have to Marry You"'
voted Music City News "Song of the Year” in 1977.
He can't wait to tell you some of those stories and more stories
about "life on wheels." Fred has seen a lot on the
backroads of life, and is glad to see things change for the
better, "I was worried a bit after my second wife turned
out to be a close relative of the devil... But fortunately my
luck changed and I got a job at Outlaw Country." |
